Unica Research Meeting: Strengthening Research Collaboration in a Changing Landscape

Next September, the University of Warsaw will host the annual meeting of the UNICA Research Working Group, which, under the slogan “Strengthening research collaboration in a changing landscape: shared research infrastructures and research data security” will be held in person on its campus.

The event will focus on two themes: Research Infrastructures (RIs) and research data management and security, and will explore practices, policy frameworks, and strategies for RIs and data management and security. This is a unique opportunity for Vice-Rectors for Research, EU research managers, university representatives, and experts in research infrastructures, data management, and security to come together to learn and reflect on the future of European research. The deadline for registration is September 10, 2025.

  • The strategic importance of open science and collaborative governance models in the development of research infrastructures.
  • The challenges of balancing open access with data security, especially in the context of research collaboration with global partners
  • Data management: How can universities and research institutions foster a culture of responsible data management and equip researchers with the skills necessary to share and reuse data?
