The FECYT has already published its seventh edition, which graphically explains the main characteristics of positions in the different stages of the research career and the main funding opportunities for researchers in the Spanish R&D&I system.
The aim of this map is to graphically explain all the calls funded by European, national, regional and non-profit foundations, in the different stages of the research career as defined by the European Framework for Research Careers (R1, R2, R3 and R4). This edition includes all calls published in 2022-2024 and available in the public and private research sectors. It does not include positions for other research staff, such as research directors, research initiating academics and technical staff.
Aimed at facilitating research career planning, it includes links to help understand elements of the Spanish research career, such as R3 certification and ANECA accreditation.
