Research results must be published in open access (OA) as one of the requirements of publicly financed projects, whether they are European, national or financed by any public institution. In order to fulfil this requirement, the Conference of the Rectors of the Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) reached Transformative Agreements (AT) at national level with the four main scientific information providers: ACS, ELSEVIER, SPRINGER and WILEY. The aim is to encourage a new Open Science framework in Spain which replaces the current “pay to read” model for a “pay to read and publish in open access” model.
The requirements to publish with the abovementioned editors are available in this link. To publish with URJC it is required that researchers have a full-time contract with the Universtiy.
Applications to publish with thhe abovementioned editors may be processed through URJC’s Library.
