16 Nov, 2022

Last 9th and 10th November, the European Projects Office of the URJC’s Vice-rectorate for Innovation attended the 28th R&D days of the Spanish Universities Network CRUE, organised in Valencia.

During the first day, the delegation of the European Projects Office had the opportunity to attend the panels by Elisa Álvarez-Bolado (CDTI) on the participation of universities in the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, Carmen Bello Merino (FECYT) on lump sum and Lydia González Fernández (CDTI) on the impact section of Horizon Europe proposals.

In the afternoon of November 9, the European Projects Office, as coordinator of the institutional positioning working group of the European Offices Network (RedOE) of CRUE, presented the contents and results of RedOE’s recent visit to Brussels (26th and 27th October). In RedOE’s plenary session, Rosa Mesa, Head of the European Projects Office, was re-appointed as coordinator of the working group for a subsequent period of two years.

On November 10th, the sessions focused on the novelties introduced by the Law on Science, the topic of scientific dissemintation under the “C” Office of Congress, and the Research Assessment Reform (https://coara.eu/).

The 28th R&D CRUE days have been a great opportunity to exchange different perspectives and best practices with other Spanish universities with the aim to continue promoting, fostering and strengthening the strategic participation and positioning of universities within the European R&D programmes and policies.
