On 17 September, the call for applications for new calls for Horizon Europe Cluster 5 ‘Sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply’ will open.
The objective is to promote a more efficient, cleaner, sustainable, secure and competitive energy supply by developing innovative solutions in renewable energy, smart grids and energy storage, as well as carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technologies. Aligned with the Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan), it seeks to contribute to Europe’s transformation into a climate-neutral and sustainable economy, leading the digital and green transitions through advanced technologies.
Open calls for proposals:
- Demonstrations of innovative floating wind concepts
- CCU for the production of fuels
- PV-integrated electric mobility applications
- Innovative, Community-Integrated PV systems
- Critical technologies for the future ocean energy farms
- Digital tools for CSP and solar thermal plants
Deadline for submission of applications: 4 February 2025.
