On December 11, 2025, the European Commission will hold an Infoday on the ERA calls of the WIDERA 2026–2027 Work Program. The event, broadcast via livestream, will offer a comprehensive overview of the opportunities for the coming period.
The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with an introduction, followed by the presentation of the new topics. The day will be structured into four thematic blocks: Pillar I – Institutional changes for ERA (9:50 a.m.–11:15 a.m.), Pillar II – Ecosystems for ERA (11:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m.), Pillar III – Citizens and science in ERA (2:00 p.m.–3:20 p.m.) and Pillar IV – New Knowledge for ERA (3:20–4:30 p.m.).
The calls address areas such as research careers, R&D management, open science, gender equality, knowledge valorization, and citizen participation. These opportunities are open to universities, research centers, funding agencies, scientific infrastructures, technology startups, social organizations, and public administrations, which will be able to learn firsthand about the key lines of work for 2026–2027.
