Biodiversa+, the European Partnership co-funded by the European Commission under Horizon Europe, has opened its third call for transnational research and innovation projects on nature-based solutions (NBS) for biodiversity, human well-being and transformational change.
Launched in 2021, the initiative will run for 7 years, with 6 calls and 30 projects per call, with a total budget of 800 M. euros.
They will focus on 3 areas:
- Synergies of NBS in the context of human well-being.
- Mitigation of anthropogenic drivers and biodiversity loss
- The contribution of the NBS as transformative change.
Next deadline will be 10 November 2023.
