The European Commission has published the Strategic Plan Analysis of Horizon Europe 2025-2027.
A process of co-creation between the internal services of the European Commission and the Member States. It is intended to support the preparation of the last two years of the current Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
The document analyses whether the orientation and activities to be included in the new Strategic Plan should reflect the most important recent developments in EU and global policy, and assesses what changes would be needed in the light of the first Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2021-2024.
It also provides an overview of the R&I activities developed so far in Horizon Europe and identifies possible implementation gaps.
