The European Parliament, through its Panel on the Future of Science and Technology (STOA), and the European Research Council (ERC) will hold the event “From Science to Policy – Shaping Europe’s Future Together” on November 12, 2025, which will address the crucial role of research in the transformations needed to tackle climate change and social inequality.
The conference will explore the conditions that make a fair and inclusive green transition possible, within the framework of the Clean Industrial Deal, the European Commission’s initiative aimed at decarbonizing European industry without losing competitiveness or energy accessibility. Researchers, MEPs, and public policy makers will share perspectives on how to integrate scientific evidence into policy-making for a sustainable future.
