The European NGI TALER (Taxable Anonymous Free Electronic Reserves) project has launched a call for cascade funding to support R&D projects in privacy-oriented open source software-based e-payment solutions.
The call, which is part of the HORIZON-CL4-2023-HUMAN-01-12 topic of the Horizon Europe programme, will run from 1 August to 1 October 2025 (12:00 noon Brussels time).
It is aimed at researchers, SMEs, independent developers and any entity with proposals aligned with the project’s objectives: privacy for users, transparency for businesses and financial inclusion.
Funding will be available for projects between €5,000 and €50,000, with a flexible duration of 1 to 12 months. Proposals must have a clear European dimension, be published in open access and licensed as free software.
