The call for applications for the Consolidator Grant 2025 call of the European Research Council (ERC) programme, aimed at researchers with between 7 and 12 years of postdoctoral experience, will open on 26 September. This initiative offers support to scientists at a key stage of their career, enabling them to consolidate their research groups and develop high-impact projects in their fields.
2 million for a period of five years, are designed to promote innovative research in all disciplines, with no thematic restrictions. Proposals are expected to address frontiers of knowledge and feature visionary approaches that can generate significant scientific advances.
ERC grants cover up to 100% of eligible direct costs plus a 25% contribution to indirect costs.
Deadline for applications: 14 January 2025.
